Suriname Airways realizes inaugural flight

Willemstad, April 4, 2006- CHATA congratulates Suriname Airways for their brand new route Curacao- Dominican Republic- Curacao. Suriname Airways will be flying this route twice a week: on Tuesdays and Fridays. After being received by 2 of the fire department trucks baptizing the Suriname Airways plane with their inaugural flight, the invitees were guided to the reception in gate A6. Present at the reception held at the Dominican “Las Americas” Airport were the Commissioner of Tourism, representatives of the CTB, CHATA, Minister for telecommunications and other representatives of the island council, Suriname and Sto. Domingo.
