 Curaçao
has some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean, as well
as great deep sea fishing and sailing. Curaçao is creating
a name in the tourist industry as the vacation destination with a
difference. The fun shines on 38 beaches dotting the coastline like
pearls, waiting for sunbathers, divers, and snorkel.Scuba Diving Most Caribbean destinations do not even come close to Curaçao's more than 100 world famous dive sites. With visibility ranging from 60 to 150 feet and water temperatures a comfortable 70 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The Curaçao Underwater Park is a 12.5 mile coral reef that has been protected as a National Park. Deep Sea Fishing Private boats are always available for charter. The marlin, Dolphin, sailfish, tuna, and wahoo, Barracuda, Snapper in nearby waters provide an exciting challenge even for accomplished fishers. Horseback Riding Ashari's Ranch and Rancho Alegre provide guided tours on horseback for beginning as well as experienced riders. Mountain Bike Riding Christoffel Park is the place to go mountain biking. The area covers over 4500 acres and is a nature haven for birds and iguanas. There is a trail that leads to the 1,239 foot peak of Mt. Christoffel. Located nearby are remains of early Carib Indian rock drawings.  Golf
Curaçao is one of the best places in the world to Golf and golfers will enjoy playing a round at nearby Blue Bay Golf Club which has stunning panoramas over the Ocean, complete with shore diving and a swimming pool on the beach. Hiking Trails run throughout the 4,500 acres of Christoffel Park, and the 2-mile Recreation Area offers a surfaced track for jogging. Just For Kids Kids "of all ages" love swimming with the Dolphins at Curaçao's Dolphin Academy.
